If your web site has been banned from Google it will no longer show up in any search results. For many this can lead to a considerable drop in web site traffic and can even force web site owners to abandon their site due to difficulty in making revenue. So how do you unban your web site from Google?

First of all think about why your site has been banned in the first case. To start with, are you sure that you have actually been banned by Google? To find out if you’ve been banned simply search for your entire URL at Google – if there are no results then the chances are that you’ve been banned. Remember though, if your site is new then it will also show no results in Google so this is only a reliable check if your site is at least a month or two old.

If your site was banned for a valid reason then you probably should have a good think as to what caused it. For example, you may have violated Googles webmaster guidelines which means you have done something which they do not approve of. If this is something small all you need to do is correct your site so that it fully complies with the webmaster guidlines and you can move on to the next step. If however you’ve done something a bit more serious like duplicating other sites content, using cloaking or any else like that then it is likely that Google will not unban your site.

So if you still think that you haven’t done anything wrong and that your site fully complies with Googles webmaster guidlines then you can request a reconsideration of your site. This is where you send a request to Google to manually take a look at your site. Someone will then either approve or decline the request and depending on the outcome your site may be unbanned from Google. The down side to this though is that asking Google to unban your site can take quite a while and you won’t receive a reply from them if and when it happens. It’ll be up to you to keep an eye on the search results to see if your site reappears.

To unban your site from Google log in to Google webmaster central which provides you with a suite of tools to manage and monitor your site within Google. Add your site by clickikng on the “Add a site” button and make sure that you verify it If you don’t verify your site then you will not be able to ask Google to unban your site. Once verified go back to the main page of webmaster central and on the left hand side click on “Site reconsideration”, or click here.

You;ll then have to fill out a tiny form which will be sent to Google. Over the next month or so every so often keep checking Googles search results to see if they have unbanned your site. If they have then congratulations! If however after a couple of months they have not unbanned your site and your site is still not showing in Google then it is probably safe to assume that they think your site still does not comply with the guidelines or your doing something else wrong.

So that’s how you unban your web site from Google.

If you’re not sure what the Wingdings font looks like it is safe to say that the average person will find it completely unreadable, including you. It consists of a variety of shapes and symbols which make up the font set. Because of its lack of clarity it’s quite surprising to see it being made available to AdSense publishers.

To help improve your AdSense earnings you should know the art of blending your AdSense ads with content. Usually, a link is clicked more often if the ad is blended in with the content itself. No extra space, no other boxes, just right there into the content. The background color of the ad unit should ideally match with the pages background or of the surrounding area. This way it is quite difficult to realise that it is in fact an advert and your visitors will be more likely to click. It is also adviseable to improve your AdSense earnings that the color of the links in the AdSense ad units is consistent with other hyperlinks on that page. If you can just let the link look like just another line in the paragraph, one may click it, willingly or unwillingly, and you will get paid for it no matter what.

The content of your site is also very important in gaining the attention of the visitors. If the content on your webpage is of great quality and you update your web pages regularly, then you are likelyto receive more traffic and eventually more clicks on your ads. You need to make sure that your content is interesting and that your visitors would would to read it.

If you are thorough about the customization of ads and their positioning, it becomes a lot easier to earn higher amounts from AdSENSE. Choose hot spots on your webpage where your visitors are more likely to be focusing on and place your AdSense ads in or around those areas. As previously mentioned, blend your AdSense ads in with the content for the best possible revenue.

It is quite often a good notion to display fewer ads per page despite being allowed to have quite a few. If there are too many ads on the same page it may look too busy and congested. Even if the ads are a part of the content itself, make sure that the content is still readable. The payoff may drop drastically if you have several ads on a single page.

Unfortunately there have been some cases in the past where web site owners have been permanently banned from the AdSense advertising network with absolutely no explanation why. This post isn’t aimed to those of you who deserve to banned (breaking the rules, clicking your own ads, etc) but is targeted at those who are genuine earners and may have unexpectedly lost it all.

Generally speaking – if you’ve been banned from AdSense there will be some reason behind it. After all, the more you make using AdSense the more Google makes so why on earth would they want to randomly ban you. There are however rare occasions where your AdSense account may be banned even though you’ve followed all of the rules and done absolutely nothing wrong.

If you’ve been banned from AdSense but you are confident you were not in the wrong maybe you should give the following tips a go.

Have you actually been banned? This may seem like a stupid question to ask yourself but I’ve seen a couple of cases where a user has been unable to login to their AdSense account (forgotten password or password was reset) and they immediately assume that they’ve been banned. Before you jump to any conclusions check your email for any password related emails. If you still can’t get in try resetting your password.

Do you deserve to be banned? If you’re one of those people who think that clicking on their own ads twenty times a day from a few different computers is not against the rules then perhaps you should reconsider. Have a good think about it – have you broken the AdSense rules in any way? It might even be a good idea to take a look at your site to make sure you’re not breaking any of their site rules.

Contact Google. If you’re sure that you have in fact been banned and that you honestly think you shouldn’t have been then try contacting Google. Sadly this is quite often a very slow and painful process but it’s deffinitely worth a short.

AdSense is run by the search giant Google and is one of the world’s largest online advertising networks available today.

AdSense is currently Google’s key business area (second to search) as it turns over millionsof dollars of revenue each year. Over the last ten years Google AdSense has seen massive growth in its publisher and advertiser numbers as well as total money throughput. What originally started out as a bunch of algorithms for displaying contextual content is now known worldwide as the dominant player in online advertising.

While it is in competition with several other similar advertising systems from companies such as Yahoo and Micrososft it has leveraged its already established search business to make a strong entry into the world of online advertising. Google now displays AdSense advertisements inline with its search results as well as on publisher sites via what’s known as Google content network.

AdSense offers its customers with several advertisement opportunities which are known as their product line. These include textual and image based advertisements as well as more recently video and RSS feed ads. When implemented onto a publisher’s web site AdSense can give a site owner a steady income with relative ease compared to managing individual advertisers themselves.
